Laphroaig: Crafting Iconic Packaging for a Legendary Islay Malt
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on numerous packaging projects for Laphroaig Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. From exclusive limited editions to annual releases, each project has been an opportunity to celebrate the rich heritage and distinctive character of this iconic brand.
Some standout highlights include developing the name for Laphroaig Lore, collaborating on prestigious editions such as the 25-Year-Old and 30-Year-Old, and creating a custom anniversary edition for the Friends of Laphroaig, complete with bespoke illustrations. I’ve also had the pleasure of crafting the packaging for the highly anticipated annual Cairdeas Islay Festival release, ensuring it reflects both the spirit of the festival and the brand’s deep connection to Islay.
Through each project, our goal has been to create designs that not only enhance the product’s premium appeal but also tell the unique story of Laphroaig in an authentic and compelling way.
